What sets us apart?
At Albatross Wines, we seek out the best of the best from every region—small-production wines that stand out not just for their quality, but for the stories they tell—and share them with our clientele. All of our wine is stored at a consistent 55 degrees F and 70% humidity unlike your average retail shop, to ensure it's of the best quality at all times. Although Wines is in our name, we also sell spirits.

Tirelessly soaring over the open seas, the albatross embarks on journeys spanning thousands of miles, rarely resting as it searches the world. Like its namesake, Albatross Wines embodies that same spirit of exploration and dedication. We, too, are on a noble quest—tirelessly searching the globe to find and bring you the finest wines.

How do I shop Albatross Wines?
Our store is located inside UOVO Wine Chicago. We also have an online marketplace where we ship wine and gifts nationwide. You can order in person or online at albatrosswines.com for pickup, delivery, or shipping. For any custom order requests or corporate gifting, please reach out to info@albatrosswines.com

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay and Shop Pay.
When will my order ship?
We are proud of our super speedy shipping! Even during the busy holiday season we ship most orders within 1-2 business days. Shipping options include UPS, UPS Next Day Air, and local pick up and delivery.
When will I receive my order?
We ship via UPS Ground, which means your package should arrive 1-5 business days after shipping depending on destination zip code.
How do I track my order?
When your order ships, you will receive an update with tracking information. Check your tracking number for ETA and any updates. Please note, if you do not receive the shipping confirmation, please check your spam/junk folders. If you have any issues or questions, please CONTACT US!
What if I am having a wine emergency and need my order ASAP?
No problem, we understand! Simply reply to your order confirmation and let us know you are in a big rush. Very often we are able to accommodate same day.
What is your return policy?
Due to the limited quantities and one of a kind nature of some of our products, please make note of the following rules. All wines, spirits, and accessories are final sale, and non refundable. Some accessories may be returned for a store credit at the discretion of Albatross Wines. Any additional shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. All damaged or faulty items received must be documented and notice received within 48 hours of acceptance of package. We stand behind our products 100% and ensure they are depicted as shown on this site and will arrive in the same manner. If they do not due to shippers error, please let us know so we can make arrangements for replacement or refund. Please allow at least one billing cycle for the credit to appear on your statement.
How much will it cost to ship my order?
Shipping charge is calculated at checkout and is based on standard UPS rates.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes! Options are available at checkout.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes! Since we are by appointment only, please make sure you coordinate the time of your pick up to ensure staff is on hand. We are located inside UOVO Wine Chicago - 1000 N. North Branch Street, Chicago.

Due to state regulations, we current ship to the following states: Alaska, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana , Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

We monitor the weather daily. In extreme weather conditions, we will reach out and discuss your options.
I'm having trouble signing into my account, what should I do?

Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
No. If you do not want to set up an account with us, simply checkout as a guest.
How do I reset my password?

How does it work?
The Albatross Wine Club is easy to join: 1. Pick the number of bottles you would like to receive: 3, 6 or 12 2. Choose whether you prefer reds, whites or a mix. 3. Pick your frequency, monthly, quarterly, or twice a year (delivery). Then sit back and let our expert sommelier pick the perfect wines that will entice and delight, while expanding your knowledge and palate.
Can I change(or modify/update) my subscription?
Of course! Click the 'Subscriptions' link at the top of your account profile. From there you can make any changes you like.
Can I gift Albatross Wine Club?
ABSOLUTELY! Wine Club makes an incredible gift for someone that loves wine or wants to learn more about it.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime. Click the 'Subscriptions' link at the top of your account profile. From there you can make any changes you like.
When will my wine club order ship?
All wine club orders will ship the first week of each month.
When will I be billed for Wine Club?
You will be billed one week before your new wine club order ships out.
I just placed my order and I forgot to include a gift note, is it too late?
Reply to your order confirmation email and let us know that you want to include a note, and if it hasn’t shipped yet we'll make sure it is included.
My order is a gift, do you include pricing information on your packing slips?
Don’t worry, we never include the price on any of the packages we ship out!
Can I place a custom order/gift for my clients, employees, friends, family, etc?
YES! We do custom gifts for friends, enemies, family and even corporate gifting. To begin the process, simply send us an email to info@albatrosswines.com with shipping addressees and gift note information. Let us know how much you would like to spend and we will handle the rest!
